InnerWork's Customer Alert and Notification (CAN) is an enterprise business event processing engine that can be used to monitor customer events and trigger responses configured by its users. The application provides alerts and notifications using email, surface mail, text messaging, outbound dialer (voice calls), and fax. The built-in workflow processes allow you to manage various message and document templates, and enforce an approval process before any changes or new responses are promoted to production. The comprehensive rule engine allows business users to define different rules specifying when, where and what messages are sent to customers under what specific business conditions. CAN also has built-in functionality to integrate with Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) to trigger calls to additional web services to perform closed-loop business process monitoring and processing.
